Digital Marketing Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our expanding

marketing team. We are one of the world’s leading organisations for mapping risk and managing responsible sourcing in supply chains.   The Marketing team is responsible for bringing the Sedex brand to life through the implementation of compelling digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels including web, social media and email. 

The Digital Marketing Executive reports into the Senior Digital Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for helping to drive the digital & CRM marketing plan from conception through to implementation. You are required to help generate qualified leads through multi-channel global plans, managing the implementation of social media, managing the organisations website & email plans, as well as completing relevant reporting to better understand digital website, social & email analytics.  

 

KEY OUTPUTS

  • Manage and maintain the organisation’s website(s), improving UX as needed
  • Track and analyse website key KPIs and provide regular internal reports
  • Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
  • Support lead generation campaigns, managing data flow into CRM
  • Fix any errors or bugs in online content
  • Edit and post videos, and audio content to online sites
  • Create online banner adverts and oversee paid search & pay per click (PPC) ad management in-house through Google AdWords, LinkedIn, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing
  • Write, plan, monitor & optimise the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimisation, content creation etc.)
  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organise their distribution through various channels as part of the communications plan
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website
  • Work with teams across the business to develop engaging member user journeys, developing specific actions in line with our communication plans.
  • Responsible for all aspects of email marketing activity, from planning and copywriting to editing email templates, conducting A/B tests, analysing and constantly improving our email marketing campaigns.
  • Support all aspects of multi-channel campaign set up and execution to ensure on-time delivery with performance measurements as an integral part to ensure continual improvement, with clear communication to the business.
  • Manage the team inbox on a daily basis, and respond to enquiries in a timely and concise manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Digital Marketing Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or other related field.
  • Proven experience as Digital Marketing Executive
  • Good understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with social media, Google AdWords, CRM, CMS, PPC, paid search, email campaigns and SEO/SEM
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools, creating & releasing ads in-house
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, )
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of up to date digital trends
  • Knowledge of monitoring the traffic/view/click-through conversion rates on all platforms
  • Good understanding of WordPress, (Adobe, Photoshop, HTML, CSS is a plus)
  • Good standard of written and verbal English
  • Quality, accuracy and attention to detail are critical
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines and manage large projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to deliver all work on time as per the brief & informing stakeholders involved of completion
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
